Darren Sloniger is the former President and CEO of Marquette Companies. As the former majority owner and Managing Partner of Marquette Development, he was the leader in envisioning and creating the West Fulton Market neighborhood—a transformative mixed-use district featuring over 1,000 multifamily units, along with hotel, restaurant, and nightlife components. This pioneering development helped catalyze the westward expansion of the area, paving the way for further investment, creating the connection from Fulton Market to  the United Center neighborhood.

Darren also led the acquisitions team in identifying, renovating, and repositioning more than $2.5 Billion in multifamily assets across the Central United States as part of a successful value-add investment strategy.

Following the sale of his interest in the Marquette brand, Darren retained ownership and ongoing managing partner responsibilities for the properties he developed throughout his career. He later served as a consultant for Kayne Anderson, a private equity firm based in Boca Raton, Florida, advising on the expansion of their multifamily investment platform.

Today, Darren is re-entering the ground-up development and value-add investment space under the banner of Parq Development, with a renewed focus and optimism for the future of the real estate market.
